NetSuite Modules List 2026: Packages & Pricing

NetSuite modules list: understanding the ERP building blocks

NetSuite isn't one-size-fits-all. You buy the core platform, then add modules your business actually needs. No paying for manufacturing features when you're a services company, or warehouse management when you have one stockroom.

Every NetSuite subscription includes the basics: financial management, inventory, order management, and CRM. From there, you add what fits. Distributors add inventory and demand planning. Manufacturers add work orders. eCommerce companies add SuiteCommerce.

You can start lean and add modules as you grow. But there's one catch: you can add modules anytime, but you can only remove them at renewal. Choose carefully.

Choosing the right modules for your business

Most companies make one of two mistakes: over-buying modules they'll never use (raising costs and complexity), or under-buying and paying more for workarounds later.

Start with the problems you're solving today. If inventory accuracy is your biggest pain, Advanced Inventory and WMS belong on your day-one list. If revenue recognition keeps your controller up at night, Advanced Financials matters more than a manufacturing module you might need in 2028.

Separate must-haves from nice-to-haves. Must-haves are modules you need to go live. Nice-to-haves can wait for phase two, after you've stabilized. Each extra module adds complexity, training, and cost.

Check industry suites before licensing modules separately. If your business fits a bundle, you'll save 10-20%. NetSuite designed these bundles around what companies in each industry typically need — that's useful guidance even if you don't buy the bundle.

Plan for change. License for current needs, not speculative future ones. A phased rollout beats a big-bang implementation every time.
