This is a reference benchmark of what companies actually pay for NetSuite in 2026 — not Oracle list prices (none exist), and not a sales estimate. Every range below comes from real deals our team reviewed, negotiated, or implemented for clients between 2021 and 2026. Use it to sanity-check a quote, build a budget, or cite a number.
Methodology. Figures are drawn from the NetSuite contracts and quotes our consultants reviewed, negotiated, or implemented across our 50+ NetSuite clients between 2021 and 2026 — spanning small-business, mid-market, and enterprise (OneWorld) deployments in the United States. (We've served 75+ companies on NetSuite since 2017.) Oracle does not publish official NetSuite pricing, so all figures are negotiated ranges, not list prices. Where we cite a "typical" figure, it is the middle of the range we have seen — your quote will vary by user count, modules, contract length, and negotiation.
NetSuite cost benchmark at a glance (2026)
| Cost component | Benchmark range (2026) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Base platform license | $999 – $5,000 / mo | Scales with edition (Limited → Mid-Market → Enterprise) |
| Full user license | $129 – $199 / user / mo | Up from $99/user in 2024 — Oracle raised it ~30% |
| Employee self-service license | $15 – $25 / user / mo | Timesheets, expenses, read-only |
| Customer / vendor portal | $0 – $15 / user / mo | External access |
| Implementation (one-time) | $25,000 – $500,000+ | Benchmarks at ~1–2× annual license fee |
| Renewal increase (per year) | 5 – 15% typical | Some report 20–40% at year 3–5 without a cap |
What companies pay by size
| Segment | Users | License fees / year | All-in first year (with implementation) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small business | 5 – 10 | $24,000 – $54,000 | $50,000 – $120,000 |
| Mid-market | 15 – 50 | $50,000 – $150,000 | $100,000 – $250,000 |
| Enterprise (OneWorld) | 100+ | $200,000 – $400,000+ | $350,000 – $1,000,000+ |
What the modules add
These are the add-ons that most change the math, at the ranges we see in real deals:
| Module | Benchmark range | Who needs it |
|---|---|---|
| Advanced Financials | ~$500 – $1,000 / mo | ASC 606 rev rec, multi-book |
| Advanced Inventory | ~$500 / mo | Multi-location, demand planning, lot tracking |
| Manufacturing | ~$600 – $2,000 / mo | Work orders, BOM, shop floor |
| WMS (Warehouse) | ~$1,000 – $2,000 / mo | Bin/wave/RF warehouse ops |
| SuiteCommerce Standard | ~$2,500 / mo | B2B/B2C storefront |
| SuiteCommerce Advanced | ~$5,000 / mo | Fully customizable storefront |
| SuitePeople HR | $10 – $30 / user / mo | Core HR + payroll |
| OpenAir PSA | $25 – $50 / user / mo | Services/project resourcing |
| CRM | $0 (included) | Bundled in the base platform |
Four data points worth citing
- The user-license jump. Oracle raised the base full-user license from ~$99 to ~$129/user/mo (≈30%) — a change many existing customers first saw at renewal, not at signing.
- Implementation tracks license, not list. Across deals, implementation lands at roughly 1–2× the annual license fee — the single most under-budgeted line item.
- Renewal is where the surprise lives. Year-2 increases of 5–15% are typical; 20–40% jumps appear at year 3–5 when no annual cap was negotiated up front. A 3–5% cap, locked at signing, is the highest-leverage term in the contract.
- CRM is not a separate line. NetSuite CRM is included in the base platform — a real total-cost advantage versus stacking a standalone CRM on top of separate financials.
How to use this benchmark
- Sanity-check a quote. If a rep's number sits far outside these ranges for your size and module mix, ask why.
- Budget the full first year. License fees are predictable; implementation is where projects blow up. Budget the 1–2× implementation multiple from day one.
- Negotiate the renewal cap before you sign. Leverage disappears after signing.
