Redesigning Stinger’s eCommerce Experience on SuiteCommerce
🎯 Objectives
To modernize the website’s look and feel by introducing updated design standards and incorporating the brand’s new visual identity. This included implementing a series of UX/UI improvements, informed by a comprehensive analysis of the existing user experience and interface elements.
💡 Solution
We began with a detailed audit of Stinger’s previous website to identify which design elements should be preserved and which could be improved. The redesign process started with the checkout experience, identified as a critical user touchpoint, and this design became the foundation for the site's visual language and interface updates.
🚧 Challenges
Legacy design dependencies: The client wanted to retain certain elements from the old website, requiring careful balancing between modern design principles and familiarity.
Modernization without disruption: We had to bring the site up to modern design standards without alienating existing users.
Brand integration: Applying a refreshed brand identity across all touchpoints while ensuring visual and functional consistency.
✅ Results
🔄 Checkout Redesign (Initial Design)
The new checkout was reimagined based on the previous site's layout and functionality, but updated to align with current best practices and the new brand aesthetic. This became the reference point for the rest of the redesign.
🧱 Site-wide Redesign (Implementation)
Using the updated checkout as a baseline, we extended the new visual language across the entire site. This included consistent styling for:
Buttons and interactive elements
Typography and iconography
Containers, backgrounds, and section layouts
🛍️ Product Detail Page (PDP) Redesign
We revamped the PDP to better highlight product information and visuals, applying the new design system and reinforcing the brand's updated image.
